Colourful and powerful. The Nokia N79 intuitively matches the colour of your screen with three smart cover combinations, and orientates the screen to match your point of view. Keep your music close to hand with a 4GB microSD card and 24 hours+ playback. Live in your online neighbourhood, with fast connections to your friends, feeds, and favourites. Capture faces and places with the Carl Zeiss 5 megapixel autofocus camera and geotagging. Find and share your passions and map your discoveries with A-GPS and Nokia Maps.

This early technology plug-in for S60 3rd edition SDK for Symbian OS, for C, enables the development of OpenGL ES 1.1 applications with N93. N93 is the first Nokia multimedia computer with HW accelerated 3D graphics/OpenGL ES 1.1 support. This plug-in enables the full usage of the native 3D graphics features supported in N93. The content of this plug-in will be a part of S60 R3.1 SDK.

Wi-Fi & 3.5G HSDPA connectivity

Perfect for the style conscious, the Nokia N79 mobile phone comes with Nokia Xpress-on smart covers that are available in five cool colors: Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green, White and Coral Red. A combination of three of these comes with each Nokia N79 cell phone. The convergence of photos, video, music and navigation in the Nokia N79 combines with high-speed 3.5G HSDPA and Wi-Fi to make it quick and easy to share experiences on websites, blogs or online communities.

Multimedia support is pretty good, as you would expect. MP3, AAC, MPEG4 and WMV media types are supported alongside many others. The inclusion of an FM radio is pretty common, but the N79 also has an FM transmitter so that you can easily play back through a car audio system without worrying about cables (if it is legal to do so in your country). Another useful addition is a standard 3.5mm audio socket for connecting headphones. Nokia have gone to some lengths to promote Nokia’s own music store and multimedia services, but many carriers may substitute their own services instead.

Nokia N79 Review

The Nokia N79 is a marvellous new mobile phone and comes from the N-range of phones by Nokia. This mobile phone is one hell of a communication and business tool and will suit all users alike. The N79 mobile phone is a smart looking handset and comes available with three different Xpress-on covers enabling the user to chop and change the colours suiting their own individual personality. The N79 handset comprises a large 2.4 inch QVGA screen that displays up to a massive 16 million colours and 240 x 320 pixel resolutions. The Nokia N79 is a fantastic sized mobile phone with dimensions of 110 x 49 x 15mm and weighs a very light 97g considering all the technology that has been jam packed into it. There really are some amazing and wonderful features on this incredible Nokia mobile phone that every user will enjoy using.

The New Iphone is called the iPhone killer for a reason. Nokia is much more than a cheap copy of the iPhone. Nokia have really have made an big effort to compete against the iPhone with the Nokia 5800.

It’s true that iPhone is a very good phone and that they somewhat created a whole new market for themselves. However Nokia is a big player on the market and they have had some time to create their new nokia 5800.

The price is also a big issue. The nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be cheaper. The iPhone is an expensive phone and if Nokia can compete with the price they can find new shares of the market.

Camera

The iPhone with a lame 2 MP camera sans flash is a clear cut loser in this category for Nokia 5800 comes equipped with an auto focus 3.2 MP built in dual flash camera with Carl Zeiss lens that will allow you to click decent pictures. It also allows superior quality VGA video recording. Thus iPhone is outperformed in every quarter in this round and is not at all recommended for serious shutterbugs.

The 3.2 inch sensor display 640 X 360 resolution will brings out the vivid colours and clarity of your photos and videos. This is ideal for still photos and video recording (30 frames-per-second) in VGA quality for recording and playback. With virtual QWERTY keyboard and wireless features such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Nokia 5800 is the most powerful sounding mobile phone, thanks to its built-in surround sound stereo speakers.

The phone also features a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. This feature is another no-brainer that should be included on any of today’s music player wireless phones.

For inputting data, the Nokia 5800 features not only the standard QWERTY keyboard but also a stylus for scribbling messages on its touchscreen.

Good news: Often-used menus are easily accessible with a single click. This is a major shift for Nokia, since many of their standard phones bury simple things like an alarm clock and the Internet connectivity deep within nested menus.

It also features a drop down menu called Media Bar through which you can directly access the multitude of entertainment and music options it offers.
The main and most necessary features are very functional and predictably easy to use, which is another of Nokia’s hallmarks and the layout of the icons can be easily understood.

The path breaking feature which will make this phone a surefire winner in the race is the feature - Comes With Music - that will permit users to get access to an unlimited number of tracks from Nokia’s own music store for one whole year and after the offer expires after a year, all the tracks will remain in the phone memory.

This is a phone for the music junkies for it also comes equipped with an FM radio and Comes With Music service that allows unlimited downloads of music tracks for one year from Nokia music store catalog and the best part is that even after the expiry of the one year free offer, you get to retain all the tracks you have stored. The Nokia Music Store includes over two million tracks for your pleasure and that’s ever increasing with the expansion of service.

Ever since the first version of the Nokia Communicator mobile phone was launched almost 10 years ago, it has been seen as the ultimate business tool for the executive on the go. Combining the best features of a mobile phone with the functionality of a small lap top computer, the original Nokia communicator became an iconic design thanks to the fact that it opened out from being a slightly large (even in 1998) mobile phone into a very small palmtop computer with a full qwerty keyboard and a wide screen monochrome display.

The Nokia E90 Communicator comes with a dimension of 132 x 57 x 20 mm; the weight is around 210 gm. The screen is quite impressive and comes with 800 x 352 pixels resolution. Furthermore, it is supported by 16 M colours.

Just below the screen, one would find the QWERTY keypad that actually makes the mobile very user-friendly. The control buttons are easy to use - a fact that goes a long way in improving the usability of this Nokia mobile.

Although the overall dimensions have shrunk compared to previous models, the E90 still offers the trademark hinged display and a full Qwerty keyboard. Now you will also find 3G support, one of the most useful technologies for information hunters and busy professionals, instant access to the internet via broadband speeds, fast download of new mobile content such as ringtones, games and applications, convenient email access with support for file attachments to keep in touch with clients and the office whilst out and about plus a whole world of media content including the latest news and sport headlines and new movie trailers.

The Nokia E90 communicator is empowered with connectivity options as well. With the help of 3G and HSDPA mobile broadband, the users can browse the Internet and transfer the images or video files at a high speed. The cabled USB connection and wireless Bluetooth technology can be used for connecting or transferring the files to other compatible devices as well. This E90 is compatible with quad-band networks and ensures seamless connectivity to its users, even across national boundaries.

With such outstanding features it should not come as a surprise to anyone that it has won the hearts of people and tilted the scale heavily in its favour. In short it can be said that once again Nokia has raised the bar as far as mobile industry is concerned and it is up to the other companies now to catch up.

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 is a stylish looking & highly capable business phone which comes with a large colour screen complete with a full QWERTY keyboard. The screen is large in size which makes a clear & good sized viewing experience on this stunning 3G Smartphone. The screen provides a clear colourful display with premium screen clarity & a 480 by 320 pixel screen resolution. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes in a black coloured casing complete with chrome coloured edges which gives this business phone an attractive appearance.

The RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 has passed through the FCC’s testing process, allowing it to be sold in the United States sometime soon. The Bold is the first BlackBerry cell phone to sport tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) support, with HSDPA on board for high-speed data transfers. The BlackBerry Bold offers a new half-VGA (480×320) resolution display, in addition to a slick new user interface. A new full-HTML web browser is also on board, alongside WiFi and a hefty 1500mAh battery.

The keys have been reconfigured slightly from previous BlackBerry iterations. Mike pointed out that they now have metal dividers resembling the shape and feel of guitar frets, making touch-typing easier. Interesting, considering most CrackBerry heads I know can already touch-type without a second thought.

So what is so beautiful about the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 Smartphone? Well firstly it features a half-VGA screen which has a pixel resolution of 480×320 and produces 65,000-colors, the performance of the screen will truly blow you away the colors just seem to pop of the screen as they are both crisp and sharp. With the older 9000 watching video playback was not that good as things were both blurred and pixilated, but this is now a thing of the past. Other changes with the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 are with the menu interface, this has had a bit of a revamp as the icons look more modern.

The software has also been improved and now operates the BlackBerry Bold 9000 OS 4.6. The surface is occupied and less brilliant than their elders ripe, and there is a look polished device which should help with the iPhone generation.A 1GB internal memory impressive, and 9000 can be extended with microSD card with a theoretical maximum of 16 GB. On the back the Bold is quite a 2-megapixel camera with flash photography and there is no video camera asked. It is almost exactly the same size and weight as 8800, with 9000 for a weight of 133 grams and 114 x 66 x 13mm large.

The Nokia N73 is a simply attractive 3G mobile phone which is a member of the N series. The N series is designed by Nokia & other members of the family include the Nokia N71, Nokia N72, Nokia N80, Nokia N90, Nokia 91, Nokia N92 & Nokia N93. The handset is a bar style design & offers the user a simple & fully equipped 3G imaging & music orientated mobile phone. The handset comes in a choice of four attractive colours which compliment the phones design & include silver grey, deep plum, frost white & metallic red.

The N73 is one of Nokia’s newest S60 3rd Edition phones and was released at the end of July 2006. It’s shipping in Asia and in parts of Europe but is not sold in the US by any carrier. However it is sold by Nokia flagship stores, the Nokia USA web site and by importers unlocked for use with any GSM carrier.

Features

Nokia chose respected optical brand Carl Zeiss for the N73’s f2.8/f5.6 Tessar lens. With a resolution of 3.2-megapixels, you can take shots suitable for prints up to 5.1 x 6.8 inches (13 x 17cm), however standard 4 x 6 inch photos (10 x 15cm) will turn out less grainy. The Nokia N73supports four image quality settings, from MMS-suitable shots up to the aforementioned print quality photos. Scene modes include auto, macro, portrait, landscape, sports, night and night portrait; the N73 displays a helpful description of each when you’re choosing the mode.

The Nokia N73 is an upgrade to the very successful Nokia N70 model, released around the 3rd quarter last year. The N73 brings some firsts from Nokia to the market, and is one of the first handsets to be released from the new N-range announced back in April this year. As with all of the N-range handsets from Nokia, the N73 is a high-end business productivity handset in a very sophisticated package. That’s not to say you can’t have any fun with the handset though, it has some great multimedia functions too.

Nokia N73 also features background execution, that is the user may listen to music and browse the internet at the same time. They may even switch to write a text message or mail without closing any application. This feature makes it outsatnding as the other smartphones have a very little or no access to it. With the help of the multimedia the user can download and store apllications to make the device the best in comaprison. However it does not support Wi-Fi.

The Nokia N70 is an attractive & stylish 3G smartphone with great built in features. The N70 comes is a sleek silver coloured casing which has a smooth finish. The keys are highly useable & the screen provides the user with a quality display. The phone weighs 126 grams which provides the handset with a quality & robust feel to it. The overall of the handset size is 108.8 x 53 x 21.8 mm which feels good in the user hand & the size makes it all the more easy to access all the controls with one hand.

Nokia N70 is the symbian smart phone from nokia ,also the second one from the famous n-series from nokia .Its a wonderful phone to have a hand on .n70 got attractive design, nice keyboard, bluetooth and as many features you expect from a smartphone. The only disadvantage i found is that the phone is sometimes very slow comparing to many phones of its class. Also the 2 megapixel camere is better .

The Nokia N70 (Model N70-1) is one of the handsets in Nokia’s Nseries lineup of smart phones. It is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera with built-in flash, a front VGA camera to allow video calling, FM radio, Bluetooth, digital music player functionality, and support for 3D Symbian, Java games and other S60 2nd Edition software. It uses the S60 user interface and the Symbian 8.1a operating system. At the time of its launch, the N70 had the most built-in memory alongside its system memory and was the penultimate (before the related N72) Symbian OS 8.x device released by Nokia

The Nokia N70 is a smartphone that performs the role of an all-round mobile, electronic power tool. The product comes with a 2 megapixel digital camera, broadband-speed 3G network connectivity, MP3 music player and FM radio (with a white headset), video recorder, email and Internet connectivity. This medium-size, solidly built phone fits nicely in the hand and is a pleasure to use.

This is a great phone. It has got everything - 2MP camera, VCD (352×288) quality recording, MP3 player, DVD movie player (supports DIVX, DX50, XVID, 3IVX, 3IV2), EDGE, 3G! The photos come out great, so does the video recording, I have watched a couple of full length movies on the phone and no complaints whatsoever. Its your PAIOMA (Personal All-In-One Media Assistant) and you can store/play photos, music, movies, games, Office Suite and just about everything else. The 2MP camera on the Nokia N70 takes decent to great pictures depending on the environment.

This stylish slider 3G mobile phone comes in an ultra slim casing which has been beautifully designed by Samsung. The Samsung U900 Soul is also known as the Samsung Soul which stands & means the Spirit Of ULtra. The U900 Soul is a member of the popular Samsung Ultra range which includes the Samsung U600 & the Samsung U700. The overall look & design of this stunning handset make it both pleasing on the eye as well as being a smooth phone to use & operate.

The market rivals of Samsung U900 Soul are mostly within the Samsung family. Samsung G600 is kind of the economy package for the budget minded. The G800 is a monster of cameraphone packing optical zoom on top of the other camera goodies. That goes with massive size however and Samsung G800 isn’t really as pocket-friendly as the Soul. Nokia 6500 slide also seems a nice alternative for its 3 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and great metallic body.

Samsung U900 Soul handset is probably the most promoted mobile phone during Mobile World congress in Barcelona. There are huge, building sized posters all around the city and the number of handsets on display is incredible - you actually don’t have to wait in line to check one out.So what is the fuss all about? To tell you the truth, I’m not sure. It’s not that Samsung Soul has some groundbreaking new technology, the interactive touchpad was around since Samsung E950, 5 megapixel camera (no zoom) is becoming standard in the new higher end Samsung phones.

Design

Like I mentioned, the Samsung SGH-U900 is a slider phone with a brush metallic finish which makes it ultra chic. This phone also has a very solid build because it’s a little bit thicker at 12.9 mm, compared with other u-series phones. The screen on the Samsung SGH-U900 measures 2.2 inch and if you’re wondering what the square thingy is below the screen, that’s the touchpad which can give you access to some shortcut buttons.Features of the Samsung U900 include:

• Touchscreen user interface
• 5 megapixel camera with face detection autofocus, image stabilizer and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
• 3G HSPDA 7.2 Mbps
• Video calling
• Music player and FM radio
• Music library navigation, digital power amplifier by ICEpower® technology by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower
• Email

The phone has a 3G HSDPA data connection of 7.2Mb/s, convenient for downloading music quickly. You won’t have to resort to listening your tunes on a tinny speaker either as it includes a digital power amplifier created by Bang & Olufsen.

The W377 is a member of the Motorola W range which provides the user with a well priced fashionable flip opening mobile phone. The W377 pays resemblance to the Motorola W220 & the Motorola W375 which are other members of the W range. The Motorola W377 is sleek & colourful handset which is available in a black (licorice), gray, silver & pink coloured casing. The handset is 95 grams in weight & measures 99mm high by 45mm wide by 18.6mm deep which feels good to old in any users hand when in use.

The Motorola W377 mobile phone gained FCC approval recently. Available in a flip design, the W377 offers USB connectivity (both data sync and charging the phone is possible). There’s also a dedicated web browser key on the keypad. Goodies on the phone include a camera (with timer, even) and Bluetooth support.

Motorola brings affordable style and feature-rich connectivity to the world with its W377 handset, part of Motorola’s extensive W Series portfolio. The value-priced W377 helps satisfy consumer’s diverse needs when it comes to on-the-go professional and personal tools, with must-have entertainment and organization features all packed into a stylishly slim, colorful design.

This mobile phone is a break through experience in affordable mobile communication devices. The price is less and connectivity is feature rich. This value priced phone is a great option when it comes to combining professional and personal tools. Awesome! This all-new invention by Motorola user to satisfy their diverse requirements. Whether it is entertainment or profession, this mobile phone makes it really easy for the users to use it for different purposes. There is an integrated VGA camera in this mobile phone.

The Motorola W377 is a nice basic flip handset. It has a small amount of features but has a great price tag and is available in three cool colours; such as Cannon Grey, Lustrous Silver and Mandarin Orange! The W377 does have a camera; however it’s only a VGA camera so it’s not going to be great quality. There is also a built in FM Radio so you can listen to your favourite station on the move, and perhaps listen to the football match whilst you walk the dog. The W377 doe shave Bluetooth which is great if you need to use your phone in the car as it’s safer than traditional methods.

The Motorola W377 has a nicely laid out keypad, concealed within it’s flip design. It has a large bright display in 65,000 colours and a small external display to show important messages, such as incoming calls, missed messages and battery level. The Motorola W377 has a basic camera built-in, plus an FM radio, ideal for when you want to listen to your favourite radio show or to a football match while on the move. It’s also a Bluetooth phone, which is essential if you plan to use your phone while driving.

The N96 is a dual slide opening 3G Smartphone which has been wonderfully designed by Nokia. The Nokia N96 is a member of the popular N series which includes the highly capable Nokia N95 3G Smartphone. The N96 comes full of everyday useful features & other amazing features which will assist its user on the move. This outstanding 3G Smartphone comes with a clever dual opening slide mechanism which allows the user to slide open their handset to suit their needs.

The Nokia N96 is a multi-functional smart phone that is designed to fully integrate mobile communication with the use of the phone for entertainment purposes. The major point of interest that makes this new phone so appealing is that it has advanced video and camera capabilities that are unlike those seen in previous generations of smartphones. In addition to these video capabilities, this phone has taken music playing, Internet connectivity and GPS features to the next level.

The Nokia N96 offers similar features and a similar form factor to the N95, but with a much more mature platform (in other words, unlike the N95, it actually works without crashing!). However, it’s not, apparently, designed as the N95’s successor (largely because the N95 is still on sale!) Rather, it’s a video and mobile TV phone that just happens to include much of the N95’s functionality!

When Nokia N96 hit the market, it had multiple bugs, was slow, used to crash, did not really felt right in the hands, the slider on it sucked, as did the battery life. We, early adopters, actually became beta testers for a new device and even shelled out some serious money for the privilege. But all was forgiven in the name of all these cool gimmicks like GPS, 5mpx camera, Wi-Fi and others, that worked more often then not. With Nokia N96 it’s a completely different story. You can feel that the N95 platform had a year to mature just by holding device in your hand.

On the other hand, Mobile-review apparently knows the right hands to shake and eyes to wink to get hold of a prototype unit extraordinarily early, and they’re taking full advantage of the opportunity. A few hours of your time devoted to the novella of a review will net you a deep understanding and appreciation for the Nokia N96 strengths and follies, but in a nutshell, the site seems to come away with a pretty ambivalent opinion of a device that should be knocking everyone’s socks off — especially for a sticker price that’ll hover in the $800 arena.

The Nokia N96 has a 2.8″ screen and 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable with the addition of microSD cards. The N96 supports various and common video formats such a MP4, Flash, and WMV. It features a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and can capture DVD-quality video at 30 fps. It also has WLAN and HSDPA support as well as integrated A-GPS which lets you geo-tag your images.

Nokia brings yet another 5-megapixel cameraphone to the party with the N82. And the camera is not all that’s on offer here as this phone is crammed with features. But the Nokia N82 is a bit of a chunky beast, and I wonder whether the Nokia design team took the week off when its shell was put together, leaving the outer design to the apprentices. So before you go all goggle-eyed over the camera and other features, let’s just take time out to consider that design.

Like the N95 8GB, the N82 will seduce you with its power rather than catwalk chic. It’s not the most compact handset, but is a solid, overly buffed silver upgrade of the N73. This means there’s space for a stunning 2.4in display and a tiny lozenge keypad design cribbed from the Sony Ericsson W880i. But don’t fret – this one’s spacious and a treat to thumb. The entire Carl Zeiss camera arrangement is identical to the N95 but is naturally boosted by the Xenon flash. The Nokia N82 features a 5-megapixel camera that produces high-quality photos and videos. The Symbian smartphone also has integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and good call quality.

The Nokia N82 is an update and refit of the European model of the N95, last year’s Editors’ Choice smartphone, which does practically everything, including supporting Wi-Fi and GPS and integrating a 5-megapixel camera. The one thing the N82 doesn’t do is support AT&T’s high-speed HSDPA network. Instead you have lower-speed EDGE paired with Wi-Fi, which makes this a good handset for T-Mobile, since there’s no high-speed network there.

Design

When placed side-by-side, probably even a six-year-old will be able to tell the Nokia N82 and the N95 apart. In terms of design, the N82 looks radically different from the N95, which is a good move pre-mediated, or not. Otherwise the company will be guilty of book shelving by introducing several variations of identical phones on the shelves, confusing the consumers (or if you like, giving them more options). This situation is especially rampant in the digicam market where manufacturers produce a single model in a variety of colors.

Audio and Video

The music player is great. I have no complaints, except that it’s a pain creating playlists from the PC Suite software. But the presets and the manually adjustable EQ are definitely a plus point. Since the Nokia N82 can be used with any set of earphones or headphones and also supports Bluetooth with A2DP profile, you can use a Stereo Bluetooth headset like the I-Tech Bluepro for a great music experience. Radio lovers rejoice, for the N82 also has an integrated stereo FM radio.
